The Problem
A large percentage of Tiny House owners have been DIYers over the years. This is due to that there were very few builders doing this type of work. The result is that Councils/ State and Federal Governments are reluctant to give approvals for siting these officially.
The Game Changer Solution
The Indigenous Australians were nomadic people who understood this land. In keeping with their traditions, I feel we are heading in the right direction in deciding to produce this type of home.
One Solution to Homelessness, Rental Shortages and Housing Affordability.
Australian Tiny Home Pods have been listening to Councils and Governments around Australia over the last 4 years, in being able to find a solution for Rental Shortages, Housing Affordability, Homelessness, Climate Change, Environmental Impact and the growing issue of Mental Health. We have worked with experts in their fields around the Country to enable our product to become one solution for all the aforementioned.
With Queensland Government’s change of policy to allow Granny Flats to be rented to non-family members, our Tiny Home Pods qualify as Residential or Secondary Dwellings in Climate Zone 2 – 6 Regions currently. This means that if you have a North facing property that has enough room to fit one of our Pods and access for a semi-trailer, crane and a height access of 5.5m, you could help solve the rental shortage in Queensland and collect passive Rental Income at the same time legally!!!

We are future proofing these homes through
We need facilities around the country to enable enough Australian Tiny Home Pods to be produced to help address the Homeless and Housing Affordability issues as quickly as possible. Due to the sheer number of homes that we need, they will be produced off a production line, so there is no room for customisation at this point. There will be choice in wood grains and flooring colours. Where most Tiny Home Manufactures take 4 to 6 weeks to produce 1 unit, we will be producing around 3 – 4 per day at peak production. This will bring Employment Opportunities with it. At this point, there is only 1 design that will be put into production, but there will be other models coming soon.
Profit for Purpose
We are in the process of applying for a Pending B Corp Status as a startup company. Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.
To be certified by BCorp means that we are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. This makes us a Net Positive business.
Additionally, we are also striving for our manufacturing facilities around the country to comply with the International Standard ISO9001 for quality control.
